What do I do if I changed my server IP address or hosting provider?

If you changed your hosting provider or server IP, you need to update the IP address that your root domain and the other records in your Cloudflare DNS Settings Page. Your new hosting provider will provide the new IP address that your root domain should point it. You do not need to delete and re-setup your Cloudflare account.

  1. Login to your Cloudflare account.
  2. From the dropdown menu on the top left, select your domain.
  3.  Select the DNS settings tab.
  4. To modify the record content, simply click on the IP address, and add the new IP address.
