How do I create a Page Rule?

Page Rules provide the following options for website administrators:

1. Excluding a URL from Cloudflare's caching or features
2. Setting URL forwarding rules
3. Advanced caching options and rules

Free domains are allowed up to three page rules per website. Pro domains are allowed up to 20 page rules per website. Business domains are allowed up to 50 page rules per website. Enterprise customers can request up to a maximum of 125 page rules.

To create a new Page Rule in the NEW Cloudflare Dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Cloudflare account.
  2. From the dropdown menu on the top left, select your domain.
  3.  Click the Page Rules app in the top menu.
  4. Under Add new rule, enter the pattern you want to match and choose the rules you want to apply. For a detailed Page Rule tutorial, visit this article.

Note: The page rules are applied based on the order they appear. If you want to change the position of a page rule, you can reorder it by moving it up or down on the list using the icon on the left hand side.
